The Marketing Talent & Capabilities group partners with Dell’s Global Marketing Organization, Human Resource Business Partners and other internal & external functions to identify, design and create learning experiences enabling a forward thinking marketing team. Our goal is to recruit top university talent, accelerate our high potentials, and develop critical marketing competencies, industry expertise and thought-leadership for all of Dell’s marketers.

This role will participate in developing and delivering comprehensive learning programs to meet business objectives that align to the Marketing Talent Strategy. The Learning and Development Consultant will report to the head of the Talent & Capabilities Team

Responsibilities:

  • Execute on learning initiatives in collaboration with the learning and development consultant

  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training programs to improve content quality

  • Create strong and meaningful business relationships with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and external vendors

  • Facilitation of learning programs and workshops both in person and virtually to all levels of the Marketing organization

  • Design learning content for both in person and virtual sessions

  • Partners with learning and development consultant to contribute to each phases of the ADDIE instructional design process, Including the needs assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning initiatives

  • Ability to influence and achieve results

  • Consult with marketing leadership and HR Business Partners to identify talent development needs and determine the right solution to drive appropriate learning initiatives

Requirements:

  • Requires a strong background in instructional design and facilitation with 5+ years of experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to pivot in a fast paced environment and quickly adapt to ambiguity and change

  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work interdependently and collaboratively

  • Exceptional experience designing and delivering content based on adult learning principles

  • Brings innovation, energy and passion around learning and development

  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word

Desirable Requirements:

  • Certification in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Insights, Hogan 360, Emotional Intelligence, DiSC or other assessments
