The Assistant Development Programs Manager will report to the head of the Talent & Capabilities Team and work directly with the Marketing Internship and Development Program Managers that own and manage our key programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition/Recruiting : Work with the program manager, Talent Acquisition University Relations & Vendor teams to support on campus recruiting at GTM schools. Act as Brand Ambassador for Dell and the Marketing Development Programs. Assist in screening intern finalist candidates

  • Program Management & Operations : Work with the program manager to execute the day-day operations of the Undergraduate Programs. This includes project management for benchmark events; on-site and virtual event logistical support; data management; participant communications; tracking KPIs for the programs and the creation of executive level PPTx presentations; conducting pulse surveys on program satisfaction with program members and business unit managers; work with Learning & Development resources to refine and execute on the Program Curriculum Plan; contribute to the larger Marketing Talent & Capabilities initiatives as needed

  • Program Refinement : The Marketing Internship and Development Programs are on the doorstep of an exciting evolution. The Assistant Development Programs Manager will participate in the strategy and launch of the North American and Global expansion of these programs including working cross-functionally with our HR Business Partners, a variety of Marketing BU leaders and will be required to bring their creative energy and strong project management skills to the table for the success of these initiatives

Requirements:

  • 4 year degree in related field required

  • 2-3 years of work experience in related field

  • Strong Project Management Skills

  • Adept at Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; public speaking will be required

  • The ability to work cross-functionally, multi-task, and execute independently

  • Flexibility and a willingness to pivot priorities as needed

  • A high sense of urgency and attention to detail

Desirable Requirements

  • A good part of this role involves “selling” our programs so strong interpersonal skills and confidence are key attributes

  • Proficient in SmartSheet

  • Experience working in a marketing or high tech field
