The Lead Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for providing DevOps evaluation, implementation, and operations support for static and dynamic code analysis tools (currently IBM AppScan, and HPE Fortify).

  • Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components.

  • Collaborate with Leads on C3MS MASC in each respective area: infrastructure, integration, architecture, application ownership, and operations.

  • Maintain and manage the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization. Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues. Regularly briefs senior leadership on program status and milestones.

  • Reports directly to AFS Government Information Security Senior Manager and C3MS MASC Program Manager.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the security operations and system integration of mission application systems/subsystems systems, including system audits, maintaining information security policies, procedures and settings, pursing administrative updates to the hardware and software baselines, and other assigned projects along those lines.

  • Ensures the implementation of information assurance security measures for classified Information Systems in accordance with U.S. government directives and facility procedures.

  • Manages security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations.

  • Develops a monthly report on the overall quality of source code from a security perspective.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience with Air Force IT Infrastructure/Weapon Systems

  • 10 years of experience with at least 3 of the AF IT systems (C3MS, CDA, CVA/H, ACD, AFINC, AOC/ACC and/or DCGS)

  • 8 years of experience RMF/DIACAP package submissions

  • CISSP (active certification)

  • PMP (active certification)

  • ITIL v3/Foundations certification or equivalent experience

  • US Citizenship required (Dual citizenship not eligible for consideration)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience preparing and submitting JCOS, SCOS, NCOS packages for accreditation

  • Profoundly knowledgeable with Agile (SAFe or PMI-ACP) and/or PMI-ACP or SAFe SA Certification

  • Ability to articulate highly technical subjects to both Civilian and Government Leadership and Military Personnel at the O-4 level and above

  • Experience developing innovative cybersecurity solutions, including engineering and implementing security COTS/GOTS hardware and software in complex environments.

  • Expertise in evaluating and implementing tools that meet or exceed DoD STIGs and Federal Civilian policies and follow the Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC)

  • Extensive experience with interpretation of government security directives to determine technical Information Assurance (IA) requirements and prepare System Security Plans and required artifacts.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience or higher certification

  • 25% Travel with short notice to client site

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
